Situated on the northernmost area on the island of Pag, Lun is a unique village with 80 thousand olive trees, some of them being over 1500 years old.

The olive groves, besides their botanical value, have charming vibes thanks to the green treetops, extraordinary olive tree trunk shapes, and roots intertwined with stones. You can ride or take a relaxing 2 kilometer walk in the groves.

To reach the groves, you might pass the small and friendly port of Lun with the wonderful promenade for cycling and views of the Adriatic and other islands like Cres and Lošinj.

We met several friendly sheep in the groves, so here’s a tip if you want to make friends with them - bring an apple. You’ll love that interaction and probably have a good laugh.
