This is what I got up to this week not on my property in rural Victoria, Australia.

Will and I head to Canberra this week. It's a very straightforward 5 and a half hour drive from home; up some major but very quiet highways. We begin by heading straight to the National Portrait Gallery - not only to see the pictures but also to enjoy a very tasty lunch at their excellent cafe! As IHG Group members we typically stay at one of their hotels and for this trip it was the Crowne Plaza; take a sneak peek inside with me. I then head into town to have a quick look around the shops before meeting Will at the cinema. I did find a cool pair of sunglasses - I tried them on a as joke but ended up really liking them! Whilst in a big city I took the opportunity to get my flat piercing professionally downsized before picking Will up and heading to the National Gallery. That evening it was off to the theatre to see James May's 'Explorers' show; we both really enjoyed it, then we headed to a cool bar for a night cap. The next and final full-day, we headed to the zoo. It is a relatively compact zoo but has some really cool exhibits and features. It was here that we discovered Will is highly attractive to large, flightless birds...!
