Preview: Rajasthan Royals (RR) will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Eliminator today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While the Royals are on a four-game losing streak RCB is coming off a six-game winning streak that concluded in a thrilling victory over Chennai Super Kings in the league stage's last match. It will be a showdown between two sides with contrasting fortunes each trying to advance to the final.

RR and RCB last played in the IPL playoffs in 2022 in a Qualifier 2 game at Ahmedabad. The Royals triumphed that day with opener Jos Buttler's magnificent 100. The Royals' superiority was established early in the game after electing to field when bowler Prasidh Krishna dealt a heavy blow to RCB opener Virat Kohli. Captains Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag have marked their worth in practically every game. Trent Boult Avesh Khan and Sandeep Sharma are in charge of the pace bowling department. The Royals also have ample firepower in their spin wing with Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal leading the assault.

For RCB With Virat in top form having scored 708 runs in 14 games RCB will start as favourites. Overcoming a dismal first half the Bengaluru outfit has had a Cinderella season and the fact that it has risen the top four will strengthen confidence. After some early struggles skipper du Plessis has found his form formed vital partnerships with the Indian star.
