First Ever Cruise Ship Flash Mob Proposal - Code Name "Operation: Golden Anchor"

I proposed to my soulmate and partner of 8 years aboard the Norwegian Sun cruise ship, at the end of a spectacular and unforgettable 11 day cruise, on 11/30/2013 at 11:30am. The flash mob and proposal was choreographed and arranged with the song "Will You Marry Me" by Jason Derulo. This was a complete and total shock & surprise to Warren who had no idea what we had been planning and working on the entire time we were on the ship!

The flash mob dance and proposal took place in the heart of the ship, smack dab in the middle of the Atrium on Deck 5, with approximately 500+ cruisers and staff watching and cheering. I am still amazed and humbled by how much support and congratulations we received from so many people. Thanks to everyone that witnessed, participated in and/or shared in our joyous moment.

Special thanks goes out to all of our fellow cruisers and friends that participated in the flash mob and surprise proposal, that I met and got to know on the "roll call" message forum, on www.cruisecritics.com, several weeks prior to even boarding the ship. Unfortunately, for some reason, the videographers did not include footage of the 25+ cruisers that participated and joined in on the flash mob dance. But you know who you are and your support and assistance will ALWAYS be remembered. I couldn't have pulled off "Operation: Golden Anchor" without you!! I am forever grateful to each of you.

Thanks to Karlie, Iain, Brie, Daniel and all of the other NCL Staff & Crew that planned, arranged, and covertly worked with me during the entire cruise to make this very first ever flash mob proposal aboard a cruise ship such a HUGE and unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Special thanks goes out to all of the NCL Sun Dancers that took extra time and effort to learn a whole new dance routine just for this flash mob proposal! They also worked together with many cruisers in learning the dance routine, and figuring out what they were to do and when, during our covert late night rehearsal.

I'm just glad Warren said yes!! Now to set the wedding date and make future plans for legally getting married.

Again, thanks to everyone on the Norwegian Sun for the best cruise and vacation we've ever had!! We look forward to cruising with Norwegian Cruise Lines again soon!
