Описание к видео INDIA ke 3 Pailot KESE KHATARNAK Jail Se BHAGE 😱 | Horror story of 3 Pailots | 3D Animation

During the 1971 Indo-Pak War, three Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots—Flight Lieutenant Dilip Parulkar, Flight Lieutenant M.S. Grewal, and Flying Officer Harish Sinhji—executed what is considered the most audacious prison break in Indian defense history.

The Capture

The three pilots were among 12 IAF officers held as Prisoners of War (POW) at a high-security camp in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Parulkar, who had previously survived being shot in the 1965 war, was shot down in December 1971 and immediately began planning his escape, famously stating that a "war is not over until you are back home".

The Meticulous Plan

Operating under the leadership of Parulkar, the trio spent five months preparing for their escape:
They used smuggled forks and scissors to painstakingly scrape away mortar from the 18-inch-thick cell walls every night.

They pooled their monthly allowances (₹57–₹60) to buy condensed milk and dry fruits. They fashioned haversacks from torn curtains and used magnetized needles in hollowed-out pens to create improvised compasses.

They grew beards and used clothing from family parcels that had been tailored to resemble Pathan suits.

The Escape and Capture

On the rainy night of August 13, 1972, just before Pakistan's Independence Day, the trio crawled through the hole they had dug and walked past a distracted sentry.

Fearing the heavily mined and guarded Indian border, they headed north toward the Khyber Pass, intending to cross into
After traveling roughly 300 km by foot and bus, they reached
just five miles (8 km) from freedom. They were caught by local authorities after arousing suspicion by asking for directions to

Landi Khana a railway station that had actually been closed since 1932.

Legacy

Although they were returned to the Rawalpindi camp and spent 30 days in solitary confinement, the news of their daring attempt reached India before their official repatriation on December 1, 1972. Their story is chronicled in:

Book:

Four Miles to Freedom
