This was a once in a lifetime encounter with the Biggest Bull Elk I have ever seen. Being less than 20 yards from him and not getting an open shot made me sick but gave me a new appreciation for how elusive and smart these animals are. This video is from my 2021 hunt. This area had become overgrown with fireweed and there was lots of blow down since we had been here a couple years prior. Oregon may not have the most big bulls but it certainly has its fair share of them.
