In India, the pesticide regulations are governed by the Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee (CIBRC) and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). CIBRC are responsible in advising the central and state governments with technical issues in terms of manufacturing, usage and safety corcern of pesticides. On the other hand, FSSR with SAUs, SADs, NHB & Spice Board of India make set of recommendations and regulations to improve the existing agriculture practices. With Javik Bharat being prominently promoting the use of organic farming.
