So you’re interested in becoming a Mental Health Gatekeeper Training Instructor through the National Mental Health Corps? That’s great news! As a Mental Health Gatekeeper Training Instructor, your responsibilities will include:
• Participate in designed mental health evidence-based/informed program instructor training
• Disseminate mental health certification classes in communities
• Track each participant certified through pre and post evaluations
• Advertise courses to the public as designated training site
• Serve as resource to participants on an ongoing basis
• Assist host site with ongoing mental health community initiatives and regional events
