1963 Gibson Firebird V played by Ariel Posen

The great Ariel Posen was in town and we had to have him demo some guitars for us. In this video Ariel is playing a 1963 Gibson Firebird V, an awesome example of early 60's Gibson craftsmanship. Loaded with dual mini humbuckers the firebird can handle any style with it's unique punchy and biting tone.

We plugged this guitar into a Tone King Falcon Grande and mic'd the amp with a SM57 and Cascade Fat Head BE.
