Logic Pro: MIDI In Part 1

Описание к видео Logic Pro: MIDI In Part 1

In this episode, we’re going to take a first look at Logic’s MIDI In routing capabilities. Logic 11 introduced the option to route MIDI internally, using one sound as a MIDI Trigger for another. And as we’ll see in this episode, this has some very interesting implications when we start making MIDI data a little more involved.

I’ll walk you through the steps I’m taking to create a basic MIDI region before adding MIDI FX to make it a little more involved. We’ll then see how to route that signal to other synths, and how to use the MIDI data line created by the Modulator MIDI FX to control parameters in other synths. It feels like this feature has a lot of options to explore in future episodes too.
