Hallå STEAM esittää : Murusia Runebergistä

Murusia Runebergistä on oppimateriaalikokonaisuus, jonka tuottajat ovat Svenska Kulturfondenin tukema Hallå STEAM -hanke ja Experience Workshop. Videosarjan kertoja on professori Osmo Pekonen.

Tavoitteena on tehdä tunnetuksi Suomen ruotsinkielistä kulttuuriperintöä ja edistää ruotsin kielen oppimista Suomen kouluissa. Videosarja käy läpi mielenkiintoisia episodeja runoilija Johan Ludvig Runebergin (1804-1877) elämästä ja teoksista. Oppimateriaaliin kuuluu myös STEAM-henkistä (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) käsillä tekemistä. Yhdistämällä kiinnostavia "murusia" niin traditiosta kuin innovaatiosta kenties syntyy yhtä herkullinen lopputulos kuin on Runebergin torttu. Pyrimme yhdistämään ruotsin opiskelua ja matemaattista käsillä tekemistä muissakin asiayhteyksissä sekä yhdistämään mennyttä ja tulevaa luomalla kenties yllättäviäkin eri oppiaineiden ja kulttuurin eri alojen välisiä uusia yhteyksiä.

Oppimateriaalia voi soveltaa esimerkiksi Runebergin päivänä tai hyvin monenlaisilla oppitunneilla ja itseopiskelun parissa.

Hallå STEAM presents: Runeberg's Crumbles

Runeberg's Crumbles is a collection of educational materials produced by Experience Workshop's Hallå STEAM project with the support of the Swedish Cultural Foundation. The narrator of the video series is Professor Osmo Pekonen.

The goal is to celebrate Finland's Swedish-speaking cultural heritage and promote learning Swedish in the schools of Finland. In the videos, we present interesting episodes from the life and work of the poet Johan Ludvig Runeberg (1804-1877). In the accompanying educational materials, we suggest hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Combining interesting bits, or "crumbles", of tradition and innovation may result in an outcome as delicious as Runeberg's Cake. We would like to explore the potentials of learning Swedish in other domains, as well, in the context of hands-on mathematical activities. We also would like to reconnect the past and the future by creating new, perhaps unexpected links between different fields of knowledge and culture.

The materials might be considered for instance to celebrate Runeberg's Day or at any school classes or in informal learning occasions.
