V. V. Ganeshananthan is the author of Brotherless Night, which won the 2024 Women's Prize for Fiction and the 2024 Carol Shields Prize. The novel was also a New York Times Editors’ Choice and an NPR Book of the Year. She co-hosts Literary Hub’s Fiction/Non/Fiction podcast.

Nandini Nair has been an arts journalist for nearly two decades. She is the literary and culture editor of Open magazine, having worked previously in the feature sections of The Indian Express and The Hindu. She runs an event in Pune called Talking Books, which brings India's finest authors to the city.
