CEPT Excellence Award Exhibition 2019 was inaugurated on 2 Aug at Lilavati Lalbhai Library. The exhibition recognizes and celebrates excellence in student work in 20 Level 2 and Level 3 Studio projects at CEPT. The 20 students also received a citation for their excellent studio work done over Spring Semester 2019. The exhibition comprised drawings and models of the award winning students from UG programs in Architecture, Design and Planning Faculties. Student projects were selected by a special jury panel comprising Archana Shah, Bobby Desai, Dinesh Sharma and Walter D’souza. Bobby Desai, representing the Jury, said CEPT's inclusion of industry experts in the jury shows its confidence in the quality of its student work and an openness towards achieving excellence. A catalog of the exhibition, published by CEPT University Press, was released at the event.Inaugurated by Milind Patel and Kavita Menghani, L2 Unit Tutors at the Faculty of Architecture, the exhibition will remain open to public till 2 Sep.

The event also witnessed 7 studio units being recognized for their exemplary work. Top 3 student projects also received the CEPT Gujral Foundation Excellence Award with a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh each. CEPT faculty members and staff who were top performers of 2016-17 and 2017-18 were felicitated at the ceremony.
