Today, we're making a star-shaped coaster and pouch! You can make the star coaster rounded or pointed. The round coaster can also be made into a pouch by making two of them! This is a super cute and quick project to make and is great for beginners.

Materials:
Big Twist Cotton Yarn in "Sage":
Weight: Medium (4)
Fiber: 85% Cotton, 15% Polyester
Approximate total length: 17.5 yd / 16 m
Approximate total weight: 0.35 oz / 10g

Dimensions:
11cm x 11cm

Gauge:
14 sc - 16 rows = 4 in / 10 cm (according to label)

Stitches:
Slip Knot (sk)
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Double crochet (dc)
Half double crochet (hdc)

Tips:
Tighten your slip stitches to make the seam smaller and less visible
The chain 1 at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a single crochet
Pull your loose ends to the inside of the cardigan and weave them in (or leave them hanging!)
