Another successful movie that took away lots of tears from Nard HAHA The story uses the time travelling technic to present this movie and it was so informative on the days when things were still underdeveloped and the culture was more traditional. The story started around the 1980 where Taiwan was still a country with a very traditional mindset in gender, education and many more. Han was talking to a priest who is also the teacher for him, they were talking about things that happened to him and his best friend Birdy. Birdy is a straightforward and a man with justice. He is very passionate to things that he do and likes to assist the weak but of course this kind of behaviour was not something that is very popularise compared to nowadays. School was not very resourceful but they joined and enjoyed themselves in the percussion. Han even stop seeing his old friends just to stick with the weird Birdy.

Love grows wonder and big in Han’s heart. He started his fond for Birdy and kept it in his heart.Birdy was not sensing anything at first and even ask Han to go on date with other girls but Han couldn’t force himself to like someone with the wrong gender. They even went to te city together and stayed in the same room and bed for the whole night. Other than that, Han even invite Birdy to his house a lot of times and he is even keying on top of Han which is like WHATTTT and finally in the end, Birdy could feel it too but both were too scare to confront about feelings.

BIrdy met a girl from the girl school that joined his percussion team. As rule, girls aren’t supposed to mic with boys but this girl was brave and fight with teacher. Birdy was amazed by her personality and their relationship was growing secretly until one day, he went for a competition and the girl was supporting him. The truth came out and Han realise h was the only clown over her. Han was frustrated but he know he can’t do anything as the society is just like that. But Birdy was not going to give up his friend too, so he invited him to all sorts of gathering but in the end realise it was all for the girl as Birdy wants to confirm his relationship with the girl.

Han was so mad and frustrated, he walk and walk. Birdy knew something was wrong and do not want to lose this friend, o he followed and followed. Only when they reach a secret beachside, Han fought with Birdy about his feelings and the time was right. Birdy and Han were having very strong feelings and played in te water naked. Can you imagine the effort that Han gave to him!!

But doing all these things will only caused more pain in the end. As they went back to school, the thing that Birdy did caused him to be disciplined by his father but Han was was not ready to let his boy suffer. He went up and fought back with Birdy’s father. But BIrdy was also very confused as he kind of like could not believe that he felt in love with his best friend and he got a gf of his own. In the end, Han stopped seeing Birdy and things just pass by slowly. One day, Han met the girl who married and divorced with Birdy. Saying “ Things shouldn’t be force and including love too.” She wasted her youth just to have a child in hand but not the heart of her lover. Han Birdy finally bumped into each other after 10 years plus. They finally could show their love to each other and be true to each other.
