So i am very new to writing my own songs and honestly i struggle with it.. but for the worship internship i am in... I have to write a new song almost every week... its stretching me quite a bit. haha but this song is a result from this past week... i haven't posted anything since i have been here in Texas because i have been so busy.. so i decided to record this one since i had a tiny bit of free time tonight. and I'm kind of curious of what some of you think about it. It's written from the passage Psalm 51 (hence the name) hahaha I hope you like it.. but more importantly... i hope that you will get something out of it.. and maybe push you to want to look up the chapter.... and reflect on it.. its David's prayer to God.... and he's just being so humble telling God that he knows he's a sinner.. and he wants God to completely cleanse him of all the bad things he has done. He has such a repentive spirit... that i think all of us should have sometimes. because we are all sinners and we make mistakes all the time... we just need to fall to our knees and ask God to forgive us for that and completely renew a right spirit within us!!!
