Registered to its first owner on the 1st August 1972, we're delighted to offer this wonderful Wolseley 1300 mk2. Finished in Flame Red, with black vinyl roof, blue vinyl interior and blue carpets, it's just great to see that amongst her history file, primarily from the previous owner of the last 7 years, there's also an original owners handbook, 'Passport to Service' booklet and even an original dealer brochure.

Walking around the Wolseley it's clear that this delightful classic has been well loved, the previous keeper owning her for some 7 years obviously lavishing much care and attention during their ownership. The Flame Red bodywork is in excellent condition, with fantastic shut-lines (very un-BMC!) and super clean panels. The quality of the paint, chrome (bumpers / grill, wheel-trims), glass, lens etc are all in very good condition, its hard to believe she's a 50yr old classic and this mk2 1300 presents fantastically and will gain many admiring glances where ever she travels.

Mechanically the car is in first class order too. We've been advised by the previous owner that the car has had an unleaded cylinder head conversion and whilst out on the open road we can happily confirm that she's just as happy to cruise at 55-60 mph on the main roads as she is pottering on the smaller 'B' roads.  The twin-carb 1275cc engine starts instantly, drives smoothly and you can really notice the innovative suspension system doing its part to keep the occupants comfortable.

Talking 'occupants' we have to say the interior is a revelation, the amount of space is a remarkable and whilst being pure 60/70's in design, the 'ribbon' speedo will just make you smile, everything works as it should and remains smart and useable.

With a nice history file, showing a highly credible 59k miles the Wolseley will come to her new owner fully serviced and sold with 12month MOT; we don't think many lower price range / stater classics will come much nicer than this sweet Wolseley 1300.
