SSH Remote development with VSCode

Using VSCode’s Remote SSH extension, you can do development work directly on a remote server. Edit files, work in terminal, source control - all of these VSCode features will be available in VSCode on your server. This guide covers installing the Remote SSH plugin then shows how to edit your SSH config file to set up a new host / external server.
