I saw this tag on ‪@SueJacksonDE‬ 's channel, which was originally created by‪@marlicias_meanderings‬ ‬. And since I needed to do a writing update anyway, I thought I'd combine the two! This tag has prompts for readers who are secretly... or not so secretly... doing the writing thing. If that's you, let us know what you are up to and do this tag! A few people I thought of that might want to do it are:

Here are the prompts:
1. Are you a reader who, secretly, or not so secretly, wants to write?
2. If you are, or even if you aren’t and you are only imagining, would you prefer to write fiction or non fiction or both?
3. Do you think reading helps or hinders your writing? Why, or why not?
4. What genres of non-fiction would you choose to write? Histories, Social Commentary, Memoirs, Science, Biographies, something else? Why would you choose that genre?
5. What fiction genres would you choose to write? Fantasy, Mystery, Historical Fiction, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Science Fiction, something else, or maybe a combination.
6. Who would you name as your influences in writing?
7. Do you think a person should stick to ‘writing what one knows’, or, especially in the case of speculative fiction, do you think a person can just make it all up, as long as one stays consistent within the story?
8. Do you feel that profanity, graphic violence, and adult situations are over-used in writing?
9. Do you feel that books should have warnings a la movies, so readers know what to expect? Why, or why not?
