With the longer days, I decided to grab some footage of our weekday Convair service here at YKA arriving from Prince George this afternoon. Hope you enjoy this stunning golden hour smokey approach and landing at Kamloops Airport. Unfortunately the sun was starting to set at the time the video was filmed, so part of the footage is a bit dark.

Captain Kesar and First Officer Jacob are operating this bird as FK579 today. Congrats to Kesar for pulling off a real greaser dispite the gusty crosswinds.

My apologies again for the shaky camera work, perhaps I need to invest in a better tripod.
