The Secretary of Iran National Supreme Security Council, Ahmadian, met with Syrian FM, Faisal Mekdad in Tehran on August, 2.

They exchanged views on several topics of interest during the meeting.

Ahmadian offered his condolences to Mekdad and condemned the terrorist attack in Syria.

He also added that the US and Israel are seeking a generation of tension in the region.

Faisal Mekdad on his part, expressed his gratitude for Iran’s perpetual aid to Syria.

He also elaborated on Syria’s tendency toward increasing ties with Iran in various fields.
