After getting up this morning, Todd and I headed upstairs to get him breakfast. Lately, Todd has been wanting to be petted or brushed while he eats. He asked for pets but quickly pulled away as static built up in his fur. After eating, he went to his board again and told me we would do pets later.

I have seen several comments asking if I was going to teach Henry the buttons. If he wants to learn, I would love to teach him. The other question I see a lot is if Todd will share "his" board with Henry. Todd doesn't care if another cat presses buttons; he tried to teach Paulie to use his board. Todd just does not like it when anything is lying on his board, like toys. A great example of Todd being okay with Henry using the board was when Henry was playing and rolling over the buttons, and Todd showed no interest.

Todd is an 8-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 68 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”.
