‘Set-it Forget-it’ pneumatic timers are ideal for applications where the preset time is rarely adjusted, they come equipped with a 3 way valve available as normally open or normally closed with M5 bottom or 1/8” NPT side connection ports, there are 3 time ranges available up to 180 seconds.

Based on a reservoir and diaphragm design there are few moving parts making this pneumatic timer a rugged and reliable product, there’s no moving display - time remaining to output is not visible, these pneumatic timers are ideal for applications where the preset time is rarely adjusted, thus referred to as a ‘Set-it Forget-it’ pneumatic timer.

When pressure is applied to the input (or pilot port) the timing sequence begins by setting a vacuum within the timer. Using atmospheric pressure (independent of line pressure), the timer begins the preset timing cycle. At the end of the timing cycle an internal 3 way valve is switched providing an output. The pneumatic timer resets automatically after removal of the control signal.

Side ported ‘Set-it Forget-it’ pneumatic timers offer two types of connection: isolated control pressure or common control pressure. An M5 grub-screw is provided for isolated control pressure use, please refer to the data sheets for fitting and sealing instructions. Pneumatic ‘Set-it Forget-it’ timers can be either base mounted or panel mounted via two M3 threaded inserts located on the top cover of the timer.
