A brief history of the Federation and Jean Luc Picard up to his retirement from Starfleet. This video serves as a Prelude to the new Picard show premiering January 23rd, 2020. Based in the Universe of Star Trek, created by Gene Roddenberry.

**Please be aware, this video series is based on Alpha Canon, that is to say, all Star Trek TV Shows and Films. Books, games and comics will generally not be used, though some minor crossover will occur from time to time. Although Star Trek: The Animated Series, is technically not canon, more and more people are starting to accept it, and so this channel will consider it canon except where it contradicts the other shows or movies.
