Honda Fit/Jazz GP1 (IMA Hybrid) Fuel Filter Cleaning DIY Tutorial

This time i have made a new DIY tutorial on how to clean up the fuel filter in the GP1.its always expensive to replace the whole unit so cleaning it up will save you some money and also prolong the life of the fuel pump as it will have less strain. Cleaning the filter will improve engine efficiency(power) and fuel efficiency as well.The filter is located inside the fuel pump under the center console of the car. Accessing it is not very complicated but need some careful attention.if you are not confident about this job i would advise you to let a profession do the job. some parts of the pump is very fragile and long term exposure to fuel has also may have corroded them so be very very careful. if you are like me and has the right tools for the job have fun!
