Assange freed but not out of the woods yet

Julian Assange has been released from prison after reaching a plea deal with US prosecutors.

The WikiLeaks founder, who has spent the past five years in a UK prison, has left the country after agreeing a deal in which he is expected to plead guilty to violating the Espionage Act.

He is expected to appear in a US courtroom on the Northern Mariana Islands on Wednesday.
