Essential details on how to reach, timings, and entry fees and i also visit Bhoga nandeshwar temple a visit to the magnificent 9th-century ancient temple located at the base of the hills, known for its stunning Dravidian architecture.





​📍 How to Reach Nandi Hills


​By Personal Vehicle

It is located about 60 km from Bangalore via NH44. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.


​By Bus

You can take a KSRTC bus from Majestic (BMTC/KSRTC) to Chikballapur and then hire an auto or a local bus to the hilltop.
​Best Time to Visit: To catch the famous "Cloud Bed" and sunrise, try to reach the gates by 5:30 AM.

​By Air (Nearest Airport)

The Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bangalore is the closest airport.

​Pro Tip: Nandi Hills is actually closer to the airport than it is to the main Bangalore city (only about 35 km away). You can hire a taxi directly from the airport to Nandi Hills.


​By Train (Major Railway Stations):

​KSR Bengaluru (SBC) / Yesvantpur (YPR) / Bengaluru Cantonment (BNC) And Krishnarajapuram (KJM) . These are the primary stations connected to all major Indian cities. From here, you can take a taxi or a local KSRTC bus to reach Nandi Hills.
