The actual villain in Richard III's life...

Edward IV dies suddenly. Richard, Duke of Gloucester, dashes from York towards London to catch up with his nephew, the new Edward V, currently in the care of the Dowager Queen, Elizabeth Woodville's brother, Anthony, Earl Rivers. When stopping off at a tavern with the Duke Of Buckingham before going on to find young Edward in the morning, Buckingham comes to see Richard with his concerns.

After Shakespeare: Richard III is playing throughout the Edinburgh Fringe 2024 at the Triplex Studio, 6.05pm every day 2nd-24th August (exc. 11th), by Surgeons' Hall. Debut show.

AS:RIII is a researched retelling of the life story of one of England's most controversial monarchs, currently starring Adam Phelan as Richard III and Lexi Wolfe (me) as everyone else.
