What is the Meditation and How to do it Properly?
Most people doesn’t know that word Meditations origins is not Eastern, but Latin. Meditation In Latin means deep thinking, In Yogic traditions, they call Meditation as Dhyana and it is the one of the most important practice on the way of Enlightenment.
So What is the meditation? Meditations is deep thinking on something, someone may say that there are meditation on Emptiness, but you must understand that when you are meditating on noting, you are deeply thinking about it. Meditations Object may be different things, most of people are meditating on The gods or goddesses, Meditating on their energy, Consciences, Inner Awareness, Positive Energy, Energy Healing, relaxation or many different things. It’s Law of these universe that you are Attracting, things what you are thinking about, you are changing yourself when meditating on something, and these process of meditation will change somehow even the object. Its some kind of energy circulation system, if you are meditating on moon energy, you are circulating the bout of your energies, you are giving your energy to moon and at the same time you are receiving, moon energy. So when you are thinking about something, you are having very intimate relationship.
And there is the question, how to meditate properly? What do I need to Meditate? How Can I start Meditation Now? Its easy task, you need elementary Concentration for meditation, as Swami Vivekananda said if person can concentrate on something for about 5 minutes, he/she can meditate, without doubt. So for meditation You need Strong Concentration and Meditation Object. Do you remember when you are thinking about your loved one? At these moment you are meditating on Him/Her. Lets start with Concentration, because Meditation Objects are many.
