The #E36 chassis is notorious for having weak rear shock mounts. These areas are very prone to failing, and the results can be quite disastrous and expensive to repair. Getting a set of #rearshockreinforcement plates can entirely prevent this issue from occurring, and the best part is that they're only $20. These plates are pretty essential if you have any sort of plans for #modding your suspension geometry, as lower and stiffer setups will result in more stress being absorbed by the shock tower.
