Courmes, Alpes-Maritimes || February 2021

We went to Courmes, Alpes-Maritimes here in South of France.

Cascade de Courmes is an awesome waterfall in Gorges de Loup near Courmes in Alpes Maritimes, France. It has a single drop of 60 meters and is very popular for canyoning. The base of the waterfall, where the water drops in an emerald pool, is very scenic.

Best time to visit the waterfalls in gorges du loup is in November when the flow of the river le Loup reaches its maximum (appr 8m3/s). In springtime the river reaches again a top (appr 5m3/s). In summertime the river can run almost dry.
