About the video:

Russian artist Nicholas Roerich was a man of mystery. Some called him a spy. Others a charlatan and a guru, who ran a cult of followers from the Himalayas. But in truth Roerich was a great painter, a peacenik and an explorer. After his Central Asia expedition, Roerich fulfilled his long-cherished dream of living in the Himalayas.
He settled down in Naggar, Kullu, in 1929 after buying the Hall Estate and this 18-room villa from Joginder Sen, the Raja of Mandi. The deal was struck for Rs 93,000.
