Creativity can be described as a process of generating value from nothing and the metaphor of a phoenix rising from the ashes represents this concept well, especially in the context of Palestinians trying to rebuild, restore and recreate their lives in Gaza.

Communication can lead to bridges being built to facilitate inspirational interaction between those in different spaces, locations and perspectives so that powerful communities are built, which did not exist previously. Supportive and safe communities can provide an antidote to pessimism and being closed and divisive. Powerful and influential communities have the potential to generate value from nothing more than goodwill, empathy and a desire to remain optimistic, open and an advocate for oneness & connectedness.

Through regular conversations in a safe space, we are creating an international network of advocates for creativity as a force for good in empowering those who seek justice, peace and freedom. How do we create value from nothing and rise from the ashes like a phoenix?
