Dropping Some Quick and Dirty Hybrid Coils in the Drop RDA from DigiFlavor and The Vapor Chronicles

The Drop RDA was designed by Brian at The Vapor Chronicles and The Vape Team with some help from DigiFlavor. In the same vein as the Dead Rabbit RDA from The Vapin Heathen (or just Heathen, now isn’t it?). it seeks to solve the problem of coil placement and cutting your leads. Specifically, by allowing you the ability to clip your leads post install. But the two RDAs accomplish this feat in two very different ways with two distinctly different post designs. In fact the devices have very few similarities beyond post placed coil lead clipping fanciness. Even the airflow system and the path of air through the device and the coils hold no similarities to each other. And yet, it’s just impossible to get through this review without comparing them, isn’t it? Why is that?

Anyway, The Drop RDA makes quick work of this quick and dirty hybrid coil build. They are two strands 26g nichrome core with a 46g stainless steel fuse and finished with .4 stainless steel ribbon. Dualled up they ohm out at around .2 ohms with six wraps each around a 4mm bit.
