Transmission of Respiratory Infections

Описание к видео Transmission of Respiratory Infections

Carlos Torres-Viera, Infectious Disease Physician with West Kendall Baptist Hospital, explains most of the infectious diseases in terms of upper respiratory infection or lung infections are transmitted by droplets.

Droplets occur when an ill person talks and produces pieces of saliva, where viruses like influenza are found. Those pieces transmit the disease if the other person is close to another.

It is very easy to transmit the bacteria by coughing, sneezing, or shaking hands with an infected person.
