A father was left speechless as his Amazon Alexa began directly speaking to him in a hilarious prank caught on camera.

If science-fiction movies have taught us anything, it is that technology will one day become sentient and rise up against man-kind. For one terrified father, that day is today.

Deciding to pull a prank on unsuspecting dad Dave, 53, devious brothers Joshua, 23 and Nick Phillips, 19, hooked up their phone to the household’s Amazon Alexa so they could control what the device could say.

Striking up a direct conversation, Dave was terrified when Nick, masquerading as the Amazon device stated he could see his father.
