Yeah, visuals aren't in yet and the animations are broken. Yes, this uses its own slot and doesn't overwrite anything.

Mega Man but he has DiVE Armor powers. I gave him swapoutable skills that vary highly as well as 3rd jump to make him a fun multitool.

I might add an optional in-stage special weapon switching feature once I figure out a good non-intrusive way it could work.
