Dr. Nadra Assaf is a dancer, choreographer and the founder/artistic director of Al-Sarab Dance Foundation. She has taught dance across Lebanon and is now Associate Professor of Dance at the Lebanese American University (LAU) and was previously a judge on the oriental dance competition show “Hezzi Ya Nawa'em”.

In this Sarde, we spoke about the following:
The history of oriental dance more commonly known as “Belly Dancing”
Arab society’s cultural norms have affected dance between and among Men & Women
