Back in the day we were all convinced that the Son of Sam cult originated at Sacred Heart high school in the Lake Ave area of Yonkers.

Lake Ave quickly became my focus after the Wahlstrom video. This is the first of several that I did about that area.

Ultimately Lake Ave proved to be its own issue. There is no doubt that there were some known predators in the area, but they had no provable connection to David Berkowitz. It seems that by blaming Lake ave for Son of Sam, Maury was acting out some weird personal issue he had with his own neighborhood.
