In today's episode of The Road to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we play a 1-on-1 as Shulk and Wario on Gaur Plain in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Gaur Plain is based on one of the early areas from Xenoblade Chronicles, and features the iconic spires as well as a boss fight with Metal Face.

The Road to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a project where each day between now and the launch of Smash Ultimate, Katie and I will be playing a match in one of the earlier Super Smash Bros. games. Since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features just under 100 returning stages from earlier Smash games, it makes sense for us to do a daily countdown of stages.
