We had a break for over 2 months from our weekly hiking activities as most of us travelled with family, coinciding with kids school holidays. And now everyone is back and eager to resume even though it’s quite hot. With ongoing auspicious month of Shravan, 10 Adventure Buddies decided to hike to Shiva Temple at Old Muscat from Riyam Park. What could have been more better than kickstarting new season other than this way !

This hike is perfect especially for summers as it has all elements of a good hike like stamina, skills and is under shade till 1.5 hours from sunrise.

This hike is not very long with distance of 2.1 KM for hiking trail and then walk for about 800 meters towards Shiva Temple in old Muscat.

Everyone felt blessed to finish the hike and offering prayers at temple.
