Cape Town delivered in spectacular fashion for the start of the longest leg in the Race’s history: from over 30 knots of wind on one side of the race course to virtually no wind on the other side as the teams fell under the shadow of Table Mountain. Drama was also thrown in the mix with 2 teams suffering minor reparable damages.
