Here is Part 5 of our South Scotland break, once again travelling in our trusty camper van. This leg of the journey takes an unexpected turn as we head out of Scotland and cross into Cumbria… but disaster strikes, making our adventure even more adventurous than planned!

After dealing with the drama, we continue onwards to Keswick before heading to Bowness-on-Windermere for our 6th park-up overlooking the stunning Lake District scenery.

Our final stop brings us to Andrew and Barbara’s, marking our 7th and last stay of this road trip before making our way home. It’s been a trip full of surprises, beautiful landscapes, peaceful lakeside moments, and unforgettable memories.
