Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this RV roof repair tape. This is a six-inch-wide repair tape that's gonna seal joints, seams, and damage on your RV's roof. This will adhere to all RV roof materials, skylights, windows, awnings, and other surfaces. This does have a Steel-Loc adhesive that's going to instantly stop leaks and permanently repair your RV roof. So it's a good thing to have on hand, just in case there we're to ever be holes or punctures in your RV's roof.
You can easily take this out and waterproof over those to make sure that you're not gonna get water inside your RV, where it could build mold and other damaging side effects. This is a very nice material. It's not going to crack, harden, or shrink, so it's gonna hold up really well for you. It is a white color, so it will blend in really well with your white roof. You are going to get 75 feet of this repair tape, so it's gonna cover a wide area for you, should last you a good long time if you're just using it to fix spots on your RV's roof.
It's very simple to get installed, you'll just cut the length that you need using some scissors or a knife, very easy to cut through, and then you'll peel off the backing, stick it down to a clean surface. Now, ideally it would be a dry surface, but if you are out in the rain, you notice a leak coming through, you can put this down on non-porous wet surfaces as well. Its ideal application temperature is gonna be 25 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer. If you are putting this on outside in temperatures that are less than 25 degrees, you will need to use some primer. If you're above 25 degrees, you won't have to worry about using a primer, it will stick just fine.
If it's below 25 degrees, but still above negative 25 degrees Fahrenheit, you will be able to use a quick roof seal prime that will allow you to put this on in very, very cold temperatures, but most situations, you're probably not gonna have to worry about that. Just make sure that the surface is clean, peel off what you need, cut it, take off that backing and make sure it's nice and sealed up for you to prevent any water from getting in there. This is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the U.S. I will say, when you're storing this, you will wanna make sure that it's not gonna be sitting on any surface that could peel up. It is pretty sticky on the underside here, so it might be good to have some wax paper or something sitting underneath it to prevent it from sticking to the surface of wherever that is stored.
That's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
