Residents of Ikolomani in Kakamega County have expressed mixed opinions, on the prospects of large-scale gold mining in the area. Acacia mining, a UK based exploration company has discovered 1.3 million ounces of Gold deposits in Liranda corridor, virhembe village in Ikolomani. Namukabo Werungah reports from Kakamega.
