Towering 235 above the Genessee River in Letchworth State Park, near Portageville, NY, Norfolk Southern’s new Genessee Arch Bridge is truly a sight to behold as it stand above the upper falls viewing area in the park. I paid a visit to this location nearly three years after my last visit when 765 crossed the old trestle. Two days were spent capturing the action across the new bridge in early June, 2018, as workers continued to wrap up construction and prepare to open the Portageville entrance some time in the Fall of 2018.
