Oud Mastry, the latest addition to the sensual Oud Attar line of perfume oils is a delicious sparkling fruity oud perfume, rich with spices, balms, incense and a big jammy hit of glorious rose, all wrapped in the powerful and pervasive embrace of mysterious agarwood, or oud, a perfume ingredient central to all the Oud Attar perfume oils and a material that has been causing obsession among fragrance lovers for years now.

Oud Mastry is an intriguing mix of effervescence and moody charisma; incredibly powerful and complex from the moment it opens on skin with bright citrus notes adding sparkle and lightness at the top.

The green, feral fruitiness of cassis and sticky red bittersweet glory of pomegranate counterpoint this as the full force of rose, oud and animalics warm up and bloom with huge seduction and style. 

A touch of warming saffron echoes the leather in the base; pistachio and apple hint at sugar-dusted Loukhoum against the beautiful central rose, jasmine and smoky resins compliment the plush aromatic scent of geranium. 

Overall Oud Mastry has tremendous linear tenacity on skin, up to twenty-four hours from the initial rush of sparkling fruited oud down through the dark bruised rose; spices and woods to the beautiful languorous fade of oud wood’s animalic residue and the whispers of incense.

Throughout the progression of the notes there is great beauty in the sensual erosion/waning of materials in Oud Mastry, the joy of inhaling the olfactive ebb and flow of precious oud within the complex skein of rose-stained fruits, temple-mood smoke and the seductive way Oud Mastry anoints skin like a lover’s kiss.
