How does a 1920's Martin ukulele compare to a luthier built ukulele?

Comparing a Martin Style 1 to a Ken Timm's luthier built Style 0 replica.

As the Martin is likely from between 1919 and 1922, it could be either a style 1 if it is 1919 - 1921 or a style zero if it is from 1922. Probably the latter as more of those were made for the Oliver Ditson company in Boston. Rosewood binding was introduced in the Style 1 after 1926 so I think that style 0 and 1 are quite tricky to tell apart during that time period. Happy for anyone with any info to help me with this distinction! (beyond what you can read in 'The Martin Ukulele' by John Walsh and John King).
