Honda Fury Stock Exhaust vs Cobra 3-inch Slip-ons

Описание к видео Honda Fury Stock Exhaust vs Cobra 3-inch Slip-ons

Honda Fury - VT1300CX stock exhaust compared to Cobra 3-inch slip-on with baffles in.
I rode the same route twice the same day...once before and once after the installation of the Cobra 3" slip-on mufflers. For this video I took segments of the ride and show the stock mufflers followed by the Cobra's over the same segment.

The video covers a number of typical riding situations: residential, highway merge, highway uphill, and highway cruising on the level

After shooting this video I removed the PAIR valve and installed blocking plates. The PAIR valve was redundant once the Cobras were installed. Prior to removing the PAIR valve I used a ball bearing to plug the tube that runs from the air intake to the PAIR valve. This stops excessive popping and backfiring on deceleration. If you use the ball bearing technique be sure to push it far enough into the tube to allow reconnection of the tube to the air intake so you don't have an opening for dirt and debris.

(PAIR Valve: provides air to the catalytic converter to burn off fuel in the exhaust. The Cobras do not have a cat converter so the additional air causes popping and backfiring.)

Although the bike runs fine with the Cobras and stock air I have also installed a Cobra PowrPro. I'll post a new video soon with the PAIR valve removed and the PowrPro installed.
