Exciting News About Literacy Programs in West Texas!

We're thrilled to announce that certain programs have received funding to expand literacy programs across West Texas! The Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin has distributed a generous subgrant to support the mission of improving literacy rates in the area. This funding will allow the following:

• Purchase new books and learning materials for our after-school programs
• Create reading spaces on campuses to promote reading and a love for literacy
• Expand our adult literacy and GED prep courses into rural communities.

We could not do this important work without the support of our funders. This new funding will have a tremendous impact - helping hundreds of students and adults gain essential reading and writing skills. We want to personally thank all our subgrant recipients for applying and placing literacy at the forefront of community issues in the area! Investing in literacy is an investment in the future of our community.
